OP 2 Overcome, Cycle 3....& dating!

I am on Day 2 of Cycle 3 of OP to Overcome...still feeling pretty good, and happy with my choice to commit to myself and my WLJ. I've been lazy with my running this week. It as been the week from HELL as far as my students go - they are absolutely crazy and I have been absolutely exhausted when I come home. This cycle, I do NOT want to go into the red @ all, and will start over with my WI day this week if I don't make up my "red" points..It was my birthday, I am being forgiving!

However, as luck would have it - we got hit with 14 inches of snow today! I have a snow day, which basically means, I have time for some QT with my home treadmill (which is prolly my LEAST favorite treadmill ever) but it works! I have accepted that I will NOT be getting in 4 runs this week, but I can still get in 3 without injury, so I am happy with that. I think that sometimes, you just have to listen to your body anyway, and this week, my body was saying NO NO NO....but anyway, it will be another week of half marathon training in the books - and I have just been concentrating on getting in 4 runs, but from this point forth, I will be focusing on increasing my mileage.

Celebrated my birthday Saturday and used all of my WPA. I'm a BIT in the red with my WPA right now, but after my runs and a little bit of Musical Rehearsal with my students, I will break even. My mid-week peek said I was down about .9, so we will see. That would be AWESOME if it stuck till Saturday AM, bc it would be my 10%! I am trying REALLY hard to stay away from the sodium for the rest of the week, so that at LEAST I can eliminate bloating as a possibility.

So, I REALLY like OKCupid guy, P. He came out for my birthday on Saturday, and Sunday, when he asked how I was doing, called me an "adorable drunk." P texted me all day Sunday, Monday, and asked me over Tuesday, telling me "No pressure, I'd just like to see you." (eeeee! So cute!) I went to go to his house after work (I'd been there before, it's safe, and his bff female gay roommate is AWESOME!) because Tuesdays as LONG hellacious days for me, and I wanted something to look forward to.

I had 14 P+ left @ 3:30 pm. He texted me "I am making dinner soon, what do you like to eat?"

This is a LOADED question, isn't it, WW friends? So:
#1 I was surprised that he was cooking dinner for me, and totally flattered! I planned to eat before I left
#2 I asked him what HE was planning on making, and decided with 14 P+ left, unless it was fried, I would be ok.

He told me he was making Chicken, Veggies, and some pasta - SWEET! So when I got there, the table was all set, and the food was GOOD. I eyeballed my pasta serving size, and the chicken and veggies were cooked in a little bit of tomato sauce, and I assumed EVOO. I had a small serving of this, as well. I counted the pasta as a cup (though I think it was less) and the chicken, veggies, and sauce as a 5. (I DEFINITELY ate less than 3 oz of chicken).

I'm just SO floored by this guy. I stayed till 12, which I DON'T DO on a school night, was home by 12:30, and forgot to pack my breakfast/lunch for the first time since school started.

Threw it together in the AM, used lots of fruit, and my food yesterday was SO satisfying.

I think I could have something REALLY good with P. He is super sweet, and treats me great...and yes, he is overweight, maybe 40 lbs? But I think he is so damn adorable, I can't even be bothered with what his body is like. I already told him what I eat/don't eat....so as long as he can roll with that, it could be good.

So we've had 6 dates in about 3 weeks....and aside from just being happy with my LIFE lately, I'm really happy around him. We spent 3 hours on the phone last night.

I feel like a giddy HS girl...*sigh*

  2. Thanks, Stephanie! He really makes me smile and I would LOVE for him to be my bf...so hopefully, it'll go that way!

(I love your use of the word "y'all." Other than the climate, it's one of the things I miss about living in NC!)
